favorite kirkland products

Favorite Kirkland products include pesto, extra virgin olive oil, tortellini, vodka, maple syrup, batteries, trash bags, microfiber towels, and tin foil. Users praise these products for their taste, strength, quality, and low prices. Several food picks also work well together, especially refrigerated cheese tortellini with a jar of pesto.
Kirkland pesto gets strong praise for its quality, large quantity, and versatility. Users compare it favorably with supermarket brands and like that it is refrigerated rather than shelf stable. Refrigerated cheese tortellini takes about two minutes to cook, which makes it an easy match for the pesto.
Kirkland extra virgin olive oil receives praise for its taste and purity. Users cite tests that rank it highly for purity. Maple syrup also gets attention because the bottle size costs a fraction of what other stores charge, while users describe the vodka as phenomenal.
For household products, users praise Kirkland batteries as equal to or better than leading household brands. Trash bags earn high marks for strength and value. Microfiber towels have good quality at a low price, and Kirkland tin foil gets especially strong praise for its unusual durability.
Users give Kirkland toilet paper mixed reviews and say its quality may have declined. Dishwasher pods also receive complaints about residue and weak cleaning. Kirkland Signature Light Beer gets the clearest warning, with users saying they would avoid it because of the taste.

Caesar Salad. WAY too much lettuce, ingredients are basic and not flavorful. No spice packet. And the dressing is just plain bad. Don’t think I’ll get another one. What are some other Kirkland items that just aren’t worth it?
EDIT: Apparently “spice packet” was an extremely poor choice of words. I mean that stuff that looks like powdered weed that is a mix of herbs and crack, comes in the bagged version and adds some pizazz. I will only get the bagged version now. I’ll be switching to Charmin Strong, Finish dishwashing pods, and Bounty now thanks to these recommendations. Kirkland dishwashing pods have been leaving a whitish residue on all my glassware. Not a single mention of rotisserie chickens or steak or any meat for that matter including fish which are all goated. Carry on you heathens.
EDIT 2: The rotisserie chicken hate has started trickling in. Let the games begin.
I’ll go first- so far for me, it’s the lightly breaded chicken breast chunks. I have repurchased them twice now but I still have much to test out.
Bonus: my favorite item that is not KS: the Vitarain Zero drinks. I’ve also repurchased these twice.
Kirkland Signature Light Beer. I don't care if it's been a decade, I am never forgiving them for that.
Refrigerated cheese tortellini (cooks in 2 min!) and the jar of pesto. Both Kirkland Signature, and go together for a quick dish. The pesto is a deal and very versatile.
Add in some cherry tomatoes and cubed fresh mozzarella to give it a little pop. Serve warm, or bring chilled to a summer potluck.
The answer depends on your life stage:
- Unmarried: alcohol, mixed nuts
- Married, no kids: alcohol, mixed nuts, cheese
- Little kids: diapers, baby wipes, apple sauce
- Pre-teens: chicken nuggets, chocolate covered raisins
- Teens: headache pills, wine, Apple stuff, enormous tubs of creams and lotions
- Empty-nesters: wine, pesto, smoked salmon. Dog food
- Seniors: clothes
- Seniors+: diapers, baby wipes, apple sauce
I find the Kirkland toilet paper to be not worth my time.
It may be my dishwasher, but the kirkland dishwasher pods compared to any others they sell are horrible.
I really like Costco products, even moreso Kirkland Signature products. Lately though I tried some products from my regular grocery store that I felt tasted way too similar to Kirkland Signature (namely, I tried a Rana Pesto sauce and felt like it tasted exactly like Kirkland Signature Basil Pesto sauce), and am trying to figure out how to tell when Kirkland Signature is a stand-in for a more famous brand.
The Kirkland Olive oil is some of the best you can buy. Every test i have seen shows it as being the purest on the market
SOME of my fave Kirkland Signature products:

- Organic Unsweetened Almond Milk
- Green Tea Bags

KS Maple Syrup is the tits. Fraction of the price for that bottle size compared to any other store
- All of their nuts are high quality. I love it that they also have unsalted.
- Love the KS fat free plain Greek yogurt
- OTC Allergy meds!
Saturday night survey!
I saw great results with Whole Foods 365 Unscented powder using a long wash plus extra rinse on warm; however, it required a special trip to Whole Foods. So I switched to this KS powder which only has amylase, no lipase. Same long wash cycle, warm. Seems to be working ok, but I am afraid I am missing out on the lipase benefits. Is it worth it to add a lipase booster? I love having all in one.
Tin Foil and Cling Film. Never going back to the supermarket stuff.
Technically - all Kirkland Signature products are rebadged branded items of the same, or better quality than the branded ones. They're all good, and if you're not happy - you can 100% take them back for a refund. No questions asked.
Microfiber towels, amazing value for money and great quality too
I’m looking for items that perform just as well as the branded versions
- Batteries are often compared favorably to leading brands like Duracell.
- Toilet paper has received mixed reviews, with some Users noting a decline in quality.
