9 Best Wireless Earbuds for Sound, ANC and Calls

Update: Thanks all for the recs! I was in between Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and Soundcore Sleep A30 however once I actually tried the soundcore sleeping ones on my ear I was impressed on how comfortable they were, like truly never wore something like this.

idk what to pick anymore. earbuds shopping is a mess im serious. my old pair dies at like 40 percent and the left bud cuts out if i move my head wrong D: i use them for everything music, calls, gym, commute like 5 hours a day. im not trying to cheap out but im also not paying extra just for a logo. need something that will actually last 3 to 4 years minimum comfy for long sessions good ANC and clear sound not muddy wireless obviously. skip the sponsored top 10 lists what pair has actually changed ur life!!

Update: OP here coming back to share what I ended up with after my old pair finally gave out. My case was also held together with tape so I feel you there. After reading through the comments and looking at what's actually available I grabbed a pair from Walmart and they've been solid for everything. The fit is secure enough for runs which was my main worry and the noise cancellation blocks out train noise way better than I expected for the price.

Sound quality is surprisingly good for indie and electronic stuff, bass is there without drowning out the mids. Someone in the thread mentioned multipoint connectivity and yeah these switch between my phone and laptop without any hassle. Battery lasts all week with daily use too. If you're still searching for the best wireless earbuds 2026 has to offer and don't want to drop insane money on the big names, these are worth a look.

my trusty pair from a couple years ago are on their last legs. battery's shot and the case is held together with tape. it's time for an upgrade, but the market feels totally different now. i use them for everything: commuting, workouts, and just zoning out. good sound quality is important (i listen to a lot of indie and electronic), but so is a secure fit so they don't fall out when i'm running. noise cancellation would be a huge plus for the train.

with so many brands and new models dropping, it's hard to know what's worth it. are the newest ones from the big players a noticeable upgrade, or have the smaller brands caught up? is multipoint connectivity standard now, or still a premium feature? for people who bought a pair recently that they love, what did you get and why? trying to find a solid all-rounder that won't disappoint.

Honestly asking for 3-4 years of heavy usage is a lot for a set of wireless buds. But you're right, there is a bewildering array of choice right now.

One thing you didn't mention is budget (along with currency please). That will help narrow it down. Do you like stem style or buds? Do you like a v-shaped sound profile or something more neutral?

SoundCore Liberty 5 pro unless you're in the apple ecosystem and want Air Pods Pro 3.

Not sure there is anything else that would compare for your particular priorities under $200.

TOZO. I have two T-12 sets and a "tonal dots " set, the t-12s have longer battery life.

Im looking to get a new pair preferably like the 100-150 dollar range, but I don't really know what brands are good. For a while ive been using Soundcore liberty 5's and they're decent, but mine are getting pretty bad lately so I want some recommendations before buying a pair that won't be good.

Personally going with the Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro - best all-rounder for music and calls from everything I’ve read.

I’ve been using a cheap pair of wireless earbuds for a while, and they’re starting to annoy me more than they help, so I’m finally thinking about upgrading.

Most of my use is pretty simple:

• daily music and podcasts
• a lot of phone calls and Zoom/Teams meetings
• occasional YouTube and Netflix on the go

The problem with my current buds: people keep telling me I sound far away or muffled on calls, the mic completely falls apart outside or in noisy places, and the sound is just… fine at best. Battery life is also getting worse, and sometimes the connection randomly drops for a second, which is super annoying during calls.

My budget is up to $200, buying in the US. I don’t need anything super “audiophile”, but I do want:

• solid mic quality for calls (indoor and outdoor)
• decent sound for music (nothing crazy, just not flat and lifeless)
• good comfort for long wear
• stable Bluetooth connection and reasonable battery life

I keep seeing Sony WF‑1000XM6, AirPods Pro 3, Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro, Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, JBL Live Beam 3 and a bunch of others, and honestly it’s hard to tell what’s actually worth it and what’s just marketing.

A few things I’m curious about:

• If you had my use case (music + lots of calls), which wireless earbuds 2026 would you pick under $200, and why?
• Are Sony or AirPods really that much better than brands like Anker/Soundcore or JBL in real daily use?
• Any buds that surprised you in terms of mic quality, or ones that looked good on paper but were awful for calls?
• Is ANC worth prioritizing at this budget, or should I focus more on call quality and comfort?

Would really appreciate your experiences and any “buy this, avoid that” type of advice.

I'd suggest a decent pair of wired IEMs and then get a Bluetooth adapter for them. The BT20 Pro is around $25 and will take basically any IEM. I'm using them with Juzear Defiant, SeeAudio Rinko, Truthear Zero Red, and whatever other IEM I buy in the future. The IEM can be a lifetime purchase and the adapter or wire is replaceable as time moves on.

If we're talking strictly best sound quality then that would be the Noble Fokus Prestige Encore 🎶👂🏾

For sound, Best would be Noble Fokus Prestige Encore or Noble Fokus Rex 5. (These are the best sounding, by orders of magnitude. They are also crazy expensive. I own the Rex 5, but have heard both.)

Great sound / good features: Technics AZ100

Noise cancellation: Sony Xm6 or Bose Quietcomfort

Transparency mode and calling: Airpod Pro

Ive been using the status pro X for the past 2 weeks and been loving them. As a audio first everything else second kinda person they are really good but still usable in working conditions.

Bose QC Ultra II finally fixed the software quirks of the original. That was the only downside for me, which is now fixed.

Outside of that, they are by far the most comfortable and secure earbuds I've ever worn. Earbuds always bothered me but these I can just leave in, fall asleep with on a plane, etc. They're my travel buds, my running buds, etc.

Im using the Earfun Air Pro 4+ and they’re good. I got them on sale for around 70$ and I think they’re worth it. They have decent ANC, a decent transparency mode, and have really nuanced EQ settings so you can dial in the sound how you like. One Plus Buds 4 are around the same price on sale and are a better option if you want better ANC or transparency modes, but I didnt like the sound of them nearly as much. Soundcore and Tozo have some good budget options between 20-40$ that sound better than you’d expect and have very long battery life, though they tend to be a lot more bass-heavy. I personally used to use Tozo NC2s which lasted me a good 3 years, my sister is currently using the soundcore space a40 which sound good after a bit of EQing, and my dad has a pair of Tozo NC3s that are quite good and are the updated version of the NC2s. All 3 of these earbuds are 40$ and under

Hey all, looking for a good pair of wireless earbuds. I don't care so much about ANC or the mic, really just want (budget) audiophile sound quality and decent battery life. Any and all recommendations welcome.

I love my Sony wf1000xm6 for sound and anc. But there is some software glitches causing them to forget settings or change settings. Other than that they are amazing. It takes a moment to get used of their weight.

Ok here is my review with the ones that i have:

Status Pro X.
Status Between 3ANC and Status Pro X, these two models from Status Audio are so awesome, they have 2 speakers and 1 subwoofer so you have a great instrument separation, a very nice bass and mids that doesn’t muddy or invade other frequencies and a wide an open sound stage, they are so cristal clear, and so comfortable. Status Pro X is the next generation from the Status Between 3ANC, but the Between 3ANC drop their price and with that sale you’ll get a really nice sound. Status Pro X has more features but either you buy is a great choice.

Denon PerL Pro.
I love them too much!! They got an in house technology called Adaptive Acoustic Technology that emits a sound that travels trough your ears and when the mics receive it the Denon creates a unique hearing profile according to the frequencies you hear and + with Dirac Virtuo tech you won’t miss any frequence.

Sony WF-1000XM6.
They are very different from the XM5; XM5 got a closer, warm amd a bit dark bassy soundstage, if you EQ them they give to you a great sound too and you can catch them on sale. The XM6 gives you an audiophile experience, feels fine tuned with a clear separation but with Sony’s punchy bass signature and now it doesn’t feel dark, veiled or muddy, is a strong, powerful and a beautiful bass. I rate their ANC with 8/10.

Technics EAH-AZ100.
Just amazing!! They got a very WIDE sound separation, soundstage is so clear; out of the box they sound a bit darker but after you EQ them is just awesome. Soundstage is warm but it doesn’t get muddy or invade other frequencies, the case is nice and pocketable.

Sennheiser Momentum TW4.
Cristal clear and a bit closer soundstage, so purist with a nice and beautiful instrument separation german Hi-fi. The ANC is just good but not as the level of XM6, Bose, Status Pro X or Denon in that order. And they make you a test too and give you a personal EQ that is really nice.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds Gen2.
Bose got an in-house feature, the Costume Tune tech, that makes you one of the best sounds profiles according to the shape of your ears and they constantly monitoring your music to compensate frequencies, Bose’s sound quality and ANC are one very top of the best.

JBL Tour Pro 3.
One of the must funniest and very powerful soundstage, app has many features and the case with the screen is cool, a nice and complete EQ that you can tweak and have fun. The case is WAY bulkier, and the option Personi-Fi makes you a personal EQ.

Huawei Freebuds Pro 5.
They are the best all rounded with price-quality, soundstage is very clear closer and with an awesome Hi-fi sound, the bass is strong and nice, mids and trebles are very clear and and crisp they won’t pierce your ears, Huawei uses a double driver, one for the high frequencies and the other is dynamic for lows, so your music sounds so beautiful and frequencies doesn’t invade or muddy each other. The app is friendly either you have iOS or Android. They got tap and pinch controls. EQ presets are nice but you can make your personal EQ, you have three free spaces for that. ANC is great but if you buy aftermarket foam eartips the passive isolation is just amazing.

Budget friendly but with an amazing sound:
Roseselsa Ceramics Ultra.
They’re a great and a pleasant surprise for me this year, best Chinesse Hi-fi, they have a 10 band EQ, the soundstage is closer, great and powerful, you can point with your finger where the instruments are, sound is so cristal clear.

AZ100 mics are fantastic for calls. Battery life is great too (like 7-8 hours solid with ANC and LDAC). That said I've had ANC die within a year on one bud , twice. If it happens again I'm not getting them again. One was free under warranty, one was replaced discounted out of warranty. I'd get them on sale tho. ANC is acceptable but nothing incredible. Transparency is great.

XM6 I like a lot but the voice assistant has a bad habit of turning on when I don't say an activation phrase. Super annoying in meetings. ANC is very good. Transparency is great.

I don't have the Live Beam 3 but I have the JBL Pro Tour 3 and it's good for calls and meetings, but the mics aren't AZ100 level, and apparently (though I've not had an issue) when you use the transmitter case it doesn't block your background noise for the people hearing you. Battery is great but not AZ100 level. I'd grab them on sale too. ANC is incredible. Transparency is very good.

Galaxy buds 4 pro I had a factory defect two in a row where one bud's ANC/transparency are reduced after charging in the case when the case hits 0% battery. Super weird bud I didn't want to try it again. Didn't get a lot of mic experience with it, sound quality was good tho, battery was so so. I'd get them on sale somewhere you can return if it has that issue. ANC was good. Transparency was okay, a step down from the Buds 3 Pro.

I'm interested in the Liberty Pro 5s too but haven't tried them. The mics are legit supposed to be great for meetings and blocking out background noise around you. The regular 5s had good sound quality and average battery but not terrible. I want to try them at some point.

Honestly if you could catch a sale, I'd go for the JBL Pro Tour 3. I got mine for $210. Or on sale I'd try the Technics due to their mic quality and battery life.

That said, if someone has great experience with the Liberty 5 Pros I would take their word and give those a short for the value.

Anything with a Non-boom mic ( mic far from your mouth) just doesn't work well for calls. Bluetooth makes it worse as well. They don't talk about this in the advertising. They have made progress in edge cases like making noisy rooms sound "OK", they have not made progress overall.

This is why a 10$- 40$ microphone that sits close to your face generally exceeds the quality of a 500$ earbud.

On a computer, you have the option of hooking up a 2nd usb microphone to get around this problem, such as a large , desk mounted streamer, mic, which allows you to walk around the room and still have people hear you well, while not using bluetooth. Another option is a smaller microphone that uses proprietary wireless taped up to your face , like a singer or like Louis Rossmann's early videos.

At a past job, what I did a few times was have a wired headset (v-moda boom pro) resting on my neck/shoulders while having my earbuds in. This allowed me to use the earbuds for sound and the wired headset mic for microphone.

As a bonus, if you do it this way, you can maintain stereo audio during your calls, as the bluetooth earbud device will never switch into microphone mode.

Having said all this, you could still choose earbuds that will be "OK to bordering in good" in some call environments, , but it's important to keep context in mind and do what I suggested for important or long calls.

IF we had LE audio bluetooth + Boom mic products readily available, this would the easy recommendation, but both those things are currently vaporware.

The dual-device workarounds work well from computer, not so much from a phone, both iOS and Android have terrible dual-audio-device support anytime bluetooth is turned on.
