I go through phases of playing every free game I can get my hands on so I want to know some of your favorites. I will try just about anything, without exaggeration. Bring me your tired, your weak, and your weary and I will do it lol.

Mindustry isn't free on steam, but the game is actually open source! You can download it for free on their github or itch.io store.

It has similarities with Factorio but it's more like a tower defense game. I highly recommend it.

Like the title says, what's good to play in the 'Free Games' section that isn't just an excuse to try and get you buying in-game currency and all that bullshit.

Am kind of desperate to have something to play at the moment and have explicitly avoided that part of the website previously, thought maybe the other fine people on TBFP might be able to point me in the direction of something decent in there.
